The Group of Seven

Dear Mr Eggen,
I am sure you are familiar with the Group of Seven.  Have I told you that I am an up-and-coming artist who paints in a similar style to this iconic Canadian group? I may not have mentioned the accolades I have received,  or the numerous public showings accompanied by rave reviews.  I replicate the style of Lawren Harris, especially, with remarkable accuracy.         This all leads one to wonder: "why can't I be added to the Group of Seven?"  For that matter, why can't any Canadian with sufficient talent be included?
Is this some sort of persecution?   I am suspicious that my rights are being violated.  Is there some sort of phobia at work here?  Why can't I be acknowledged as what I clearly am, a true member of the Group of Seven?
Since you are the education minister I wanted to mention that I may be available to do classroom presentations on this topic.  If you feel that you would like any assistance in adjusting the art curriculum to reflect this important development,  please let me know.
Oh, and if you don't remember me telling you those things, it's probably because they never happened.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to your reply,
Your pen pal,

Catherine van Kampen
